ecopeco® hails from Taiwan and is the result of one woman's idea for a safer, healthier, eco-friendly cutting mat. Her engineering background allowed her to research and develop this cutting mat and closely oversee its production from start to finish here in Taiwan. The utmost care and consideration is taken to make sure the mats are made in the most sustainable way possible and the end product is of the quality we've become known for and always aim to uphold!
Meet ecopeco®
Irene Lin
Irene is the founder of ecopeco® with a passion for engineering and problem solving. She studied Aerospace Engineering at West Virginia University and has a career in circuit design manufacturing in Taiwan. Here she developed a deep respect for precision, quality and thoughtful design. With a deep care for sustainability, and two daughters to look out for, she became frustrated by toxic materials in everyday creative spaces, so she designed cutting mats that are safe, vibrant and durable — made to support creators without compromise. Her goal? To make eco-conscious choices more accessible, one workspace at a time.
Max Bizley
Max is a graphic designer and marketer by trade, and happened upon ecopeco® in its infant stages – drawn to its principles, vision and vibrancy – and has been helping out ever since. He hails from sunny South Africa but now resides in Taiwan. He takes care of all sales, marketing, web and social media.
